Bath time is one of my favorite times with SJ. I really enjoy watching him play (he just discovered splashing so that’s always a fun time) as I try to keep him from eating bubbles. He doesn’t get really dirty, so really warm water would suffice, but I’ve found that the products below work great on his skin. He doesn’t suffer from eczema (thank God!), but he has a few dry spots that I’m keeping my eye on.

But the coolest item in his bath time routine is the rubber ducky that I had as a child. Obvi, I don’t remember playing with it, but sharing it with my son during our special time together is pretty awesome.
Check out SJ’s favorites below, and let me know how you’re keeping your little one clean.
- Burt’s Bees Baby Nourishing Lotion– The smell is a bit strong, but if you can get past it you’ll love how smooth your baby’s skin will feel after one or two applications.
- Petit Pai Apple & Mallow Blossom Hair & Body Wash– This might be one of the gentlest formula’s on the market. And, the calming botanicals smooths fussy little ones.
- The Brown Crayon Project Wake-Up Hair Mist– SJ’s hair is always so dry and easy tangled, but this mist allows for better manageability. And, it’s black owned!
- Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Provence Lavender Baby Nighttime Soothing Shampoo & Bath Milk– I’m all about hydrating without over-drying and this lavender scent is all SJ needs to keep him asleep.
